What are the best methods for the prevention of nail fungus once I have removed my infection with Funginix?

Nail fungus is an extremely difficult problem to cure and infections can often return if treatment is not finished thoroughly. Be certain to continue treatment with Funginix for at least a month beyond the time that the nail fungus is no longer visible. This should assure that even the deepest fungal agents are eliminated. From this point forward, it is extremely important to keep the previously infected areas as dry and clean as possible to keep the environment from attracting new fungal agents. If you detect even the slightest of nail fungal indicators, treat the area with Funginix immediately and monitor the progress carefully.

Is it OK to wear nail polish while treating with Funginix?

Wearing nail polish while treating with Funginix is not suggested. Although Funginix will still be able to attack the fungal agents, treatments times can often be substantially prolonged if nail polish is regularly worn. Our best suggestion is to only use nail polish when necessary (special events, shorter time periods) and remove it as soon as possible.

Should I remove the infected nails before beginning treatment with Funginix?

There hasn’t been much conclusive research on removing some or all of an infected nail to treat nail fungal infections. This treatment isn’t used exclusively, but doesn’t appear to worsen infection and can expose the infected areas that may be hard to reach. If you have experienced recurring nail fungus infections, this might be an indicator of a larger issue having to do with your immune system and/or overall general health. Keep in mind that if you have a fingernail removed, it should grow back in about six months. If you have a toenail removed, it may take 12 to 18 months to grow back.

Can I apply Funginix more often than twice a day?

Yes. It is a particularly good strategy to use if you are one whose feet or hands perspire regularly. And even if you are not, applying gentle coats of Funginix throughout the day can keep the solution strong and sometimes increase treatment times. However, don’t over-apply Funginix if applying more than twice a day so that your supply of product will last as long as suggested.

Is it OK to use Funginix while pregnant or nursing?

Absolutely. Funginix has been formulated to be 100% safe for mothers who are trying to become pregnant, currently pregnant or nursing. Unborn children and nursing babies are also completely risk-free.

What if my feet (or hands) perspire often and/or heavily?

It is a very good strategy to make every effort to keep infected nails and surrounding areas as dry and clean as possible. Wearing open-toed shoes without socks and using a towel often to keep infected areas dry are two solid strategies. It is also very important to keep a bottle of Funginix nearby so that you can re-apply the solution after drying your finger and/or toenails.

Why should I use a topical solution instead of other methods?

There is no straightforward question to this answer. Funginix is very easy to use and in almost all cases, has no side effects whatsoever. Topical treatments (including Funginix) are generally best suited to treat mild to medium-high level infections of nail fungus. This is not to say that our product does not work on severe infections as well. Because of the wonderful blend of active ingredients and organic minerals, Funginix is the most powerful topical treatment available.

However, some of the more severe cases of nail fungus can only be treated with more aggressive methods such as prescription medications and/or oral treatments. It is wise however, to consult with a podiatrist or medical professional before starting such treatments due to potential side effects. These methods can be dangerous to people with a pre-existing medical condition or compromised immune system.

How are orders of Funginix shipped?

Standard domestic orders of Funginix are shipped via USPS while expedited domestic orders are shipped via UPS. Both methods of delivery will have a tracking number assigned to each order. International orders are shipped via USPS and cannot be tracked throughout the delivery process. More than likely, a person taking prescription medications will be perfectly safe also treating a nail fungal infection with Funginix. However, we are not physicians and strongly suggest that any potential customer of ours who is taking additional prescription medications consult with a medical professional prior to beginning treatment with Funginix.
